Is Eagle Optics' Warranty Still Good?
Posted on October 22 2019
Do you own an Eagle Optics binocular that needs servicing? Since Redstart Birding officially opened in January 2018, we've had several customers call and email us for information on how to take advantage of the lifetime warranty on their Eagle Optics gear.
The bad news is that Eagle Optics closed in December 2017.
The good news is that the Eagle Optics Platinum Protection Lifetime Warranty is still valid.
The great news is that the repair technicians at Vortex Optics will take care of your repairs!
Vortex Optics Now Handles Warranty Service on Eagle Optics Products
When Eagle Optics closed its doors to focus on growing Vortex Optics, it simply carried the warranties on its old products over to its newer division. So, if your Denali spotting scope, Ranger ED binocular, anything from the Atlas Optics line, or any other product covered by the original Eagle Optics warranty needs to be repaired, there's no need to sweat it. Vortex has you covered. A simple visit to the Vortex's online service page or a phone call to (800) 426-0048 will have you on your way to getting your optics back in good working order.
What the Warranty Covers
In case you didn't already know, the Eagle Optics Platinum Protection Lifetime Warranty is unconditional and transferable. If you bought your Eagle Optics binoculars secondhand, that warranty is still good. And if your scope has undergone some terrible calamity (such as falling victim to a lawnmower's blades), the Vortex repair team will evaluate the damage and then fix or replace it at no cost to you. The only things Vortex doesn't cover are theft, intentional damage, and loss.
Now that you know that Vortex has your back, you don't have to worry about treating your Eagle Optics binoculars and spotting scopes with kid gloves anymore!
Upgrading Your Eagle Optics Gear
If you happen to be in the market for an upgrade to your old Eagle Optics models, you've come to the right place. Besides offering a variety of Vortex binoculars and spotting scopes, we've also got a wide range of select brands that can suit every birder's budget. And our 30-day return/exchange period lets you select optics, try them out, and send them back for a full refund (excluding return shipping) if you aren't 100% convinced that they're the right choice for you.
