The Celestron Regal M2 100ED spotting scope kit provides extraordinary views and a durable design that's ready to withstand the most demanding birding circumstances. Its optics are fully multi-coated and feature BAK4 prisms plus extra-low dispersion (ED) glass to maximize light transmission and minimize chromatic aberration. Celestron's proprietary XLT lens coating also works to maintain brightness and deliver high-contrast visuals to the included 22-67x eyepiece. This eyepiece offers a wide range of magnification as well as a glasses-friendly 20mm eye relief and a twist-up eyecup. Other features of the Celestron Regal M2 100ED include a weather-proofed magnesium-alloy housing, sliding sunshade, sighting aid, dual-focus mechanism, and rotating tripod collar with a 1/4"-20 mounting socket. For bird photographers, a T-adapter ring allows users to accommodate DSLR mounting to create a digiscoping platform.
