"These peregrines were sketched from birds nesting on the wild Welsh island of Anglesey. The eyrie was on a section of cliff face with only a shallow incline, dotted with pink thrift and tussocks of grass. A small depression was enough to secure the eggs with the parent warming them from above,. The restful incubating bird was irresistible and provided the perfect foil for the more animated bird in front."
